Long Lake Chamber of Commerce
This picturesque spring feed 3,300 acre lake is located in the southeastern corner of Washburn County Wisconsin. Created by glaciers millions of years ago, it stretches almost 19 miles creating 99 miles of scenic shoreline, and reaches depths of over 70 feet.
Officially designated as the “Walleye Capital of Wisconsin” Long Lake’s cool deep bays, gravel bars and rocky shorelines provide excellent walleye structure. It is also widely recognized as a productive year round fishery for many other species including large and small mouth bass, northern, bluegills and crappies.
Long Lake is a lake for ALL seasons. Featuring year round fishing and public hunting. Summer brings boating, skiing and other watersports as well as ATV/Equestrian trails, walking/hiking trails and lots of beautiful scenic bicycle and motorcycle roads to travel, and golfing. Winter offers miles of groomed snowmobile trails, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and ice fishing.
